Therapy for Adults
Developmental Trauma; Immigration: Parenting & EMDR
Psychotherapy sessions provide an opportunity to experience relationship in a new way, I see psychotherapy as a collaborative process where both of us think together. Listening to your experience and providing a space/time where this experience can be thought of, felt and articulated, is the essence of psychotherapy.
Humor is important, as it is an essential part of creative meaning making which is what therapy is all about. I take my work seriously but I try not to take myself too seriously.
The question for me is not to try to define you by the symptoms you’re experiencing, but rather how could we make sense of those symptoms in the context of your life, your needs and your wishes.
We would be meeting once or twice a week. A regular session is 50 minutes long.
